What are droids supposed to do im only a Tier 1 Pilot(Rebel)1111 when should i use them and what do they do/are?

Read my sig too, more of a beginners walkthrough.
Also, check the pilot FAQ with most future questions, lots of goodness there.

Don't worry about driods untill you are cert in level 2 droids. Then go buy a Weapon Overload 3 and a cap overload 3 readychip and a lvl 3 cap to shield shunt.
If your a good pilot you can kill tier 5s in kessel without to many problems(You will need at a LvL 2 gun though)
