I know I know everyone hates the JSF but i just did the mission for it and im gonna use it to finish off my tier 4 and master missions possibly.

I run three throttle macros.

1 for low speed pursuit (tier4 bwing types)

2 for high speed pursuit (tier 4 awing types)

3 for intercepting speeds with good turning rates

so what would be the best percentages. the ones i was using for my dunelizzy just arent getting it.

And i really dont care if people hate this ship i love it. Best looking cockpit ive seen. The only ship i ever used with a astromech. (i actually like the chatter) handles great and has a nice weapon placement.

Plus i like hiding in the cracks of the space station...........that really freaks people out

I don't know what percentages or whatever I fly at, but I'll tell you that I always am changing my throttle speed. If I were to guess at where I set my bel-22 for max turn speed, I'd say it would be around 93%. I haven't calculated it and don't care to, if the speed "feels" wrong, I adjust it.

/throttle doesn't just take up to two digits.

You can go out to the hundredths and thousandths to peg down a specific speed. As for percentages, it depends on your engine.

currently its a markIV with roughly 61.7 ypr and 97.5 speed i believe.(eo3 running of course)Mainly im looking for the optimal speeds the chassis likes. The fine tunning i can do once im set in. I also have one thats about 63.8 ypr and 87.5 top speed i think. And another with 59.5 ypr and 101.1 top speed.(rough estimates)

I established earlier that 25% is to slow upped it to 30% seemed better. I could fool with it more but i cant play right now so thought id ask here see what anyone knows.

And for all the "i use manual control its so simple" being able to fly head on into something at 1200 speed and then one button push brake to pursuit speed and swing around is a hell of alot simpler. The way my controls are set my mouse does all cannons. I have a keyboard binding for missles. So all my other commands are done on keyboard. I like to keep my keyboard hand free to run whatever i may need besides throttle.

Maybe one day ill dust off the cyborg and give it another spin but for now im very used to mouse controls.

Shoot, It is so manuvable that I just match speed to my target and get on it six. Then hit m key to match it when it slows down.

Yup ... for the OP here... just run a macro to /matchspeed every 5 seconds =P

/agree

Wish they would balance it

As for the throtle, if I remember correctly it turns well at all the top speeds (from like 60-70% up). So just keep your speed up. If you need to shoot a B-wing or something slow, do some barrel rols to keep behind it if you are already in close, or try to keep back so even when they turn hard, they don't move too much on your screen.
