Thread: Smuggler's Alliance Pilot Mission help

In the 33X0 mission from Beissa, where you have to deliever Jabba's gifts to 3 separate ships in the Dathomir system, and then escort someone through it, how do you all do it? I've tried it at least 20 times, both killing / disabling all the craft, or just straight running from them, and I always end up with about 10 fighters on me and they kill me soon after I complete the 3rd docking.

I was stuck forever on this mission untill about 3 days ago. That's when I discovered droid commands. Never used before. I'm now a couple thosand xp from being 4-4-3-4.
Anyways. What I did. Weapon Overcharge 3, Cap Overload 3 running, Cap to shield shunt 3 ready to go.
1st shuttle, kill the baddies, make the drop. Nothing to it.
2nd shuttle, kill some baddies, when their was only 1 or 2 left, I docked and made the trade. shield shunted when I needed to. After making the drop, kill the baddies, on to WP 3
3rd shuttle, same as #2. I just don't bother killing all the baddies and replenish as needed.

I was able to do this solo with my Alt in his Heavy Scyk. The droid programs made a huge difference. I'm not the most uber pilot in the game (far from it), so if I can do it, you can do it.

The hostiles come in two waves, and any wave that's totally destroyed is replaced. Try whittling things down to a single ship chasing you (disabling some others) and do damage to the engine on it. Now, leave this ship ALONE, the damage was to slow it down and mark it so you'll know it as the one live ship of a wave. Now, if you can get the other wave down to one ship, you can make your way over without so much trouble.
Other possibilities are a straight outrun (you'll need EO2 and a fast engine at the least) or hypering once you're under full attack.
