Thread: smugglers, jabba tier 3 mission 4, what's happening

it starts simple enough, fly to waypoints, patrol 4 targets
then you get a message to join a battle, between hutts and dragonmaws (or sumthing).
the trouble is the ships do nothing. the hutts just sit there. the enemy ships too until you attack 'em
is this right? i tried waiting for them to start fighting, nothing. i attack the enemy ships, ouch.
now how do people solo 6 tier 3-4 ships, and more with the other ships doing nothing?

NPC ships are useless. As a general rule, don't rely on them. Make sure you have a flight computer with the appropriate droid programs running (WO3, CO3, EO3, RO3, and CtSS3 or 4). Then, just take them out. CtSS when needed, and you should be fine.

as i am only certed for a lvl 3 astromec how do you fit those all in,
currently im a 3332 pilot, i use droid programs, but that all doesnt fit, besides its near impossible to find venders with the imp programs on my server

The answer is they don't. In Tier 3, the Astromech box should have been the first you picked up, in my opinion. Maybe the second, if you really wanted the new equipment.
Best bet is to grab CtSS4, WO3, and CO3, then see what you can fit.

Soloing 5-6 Tier 3-4 isn't THAT bad, I've managed to finish a destroy duty at 1/2/1/1 and that is 5 Tier 3 at the end. Give me 6 Tier 4, 2/3/3/3 and good enough equipment (and droid commands), and no problem. Consider disabling ships and cleaning up later.
