Thread: How much does this shield go for?

Ok, theres a shield i get in the game thats normally around 43k mass and has 2433 protection back and front. I thought it was pretty cool when i looted it..but then i looted another..and another..and another..so i was wondering, how much do these usually go for? I might sell one or two for a little extra cash.

Everyone gets it, it's a reward at tier 4 pilot (see sig).
Value: still pretty good but depends on your server.

I've bought them for 8k from people who didn't know what they were selling. 
It's gotten to the point where I don't buy any of them anymore unless they're 8k, and for good reason - I have about fifteen of them now.

I asked somebody if they wanted one, they offered 10k. I've had SW offering more than that for ANY Tier 8 part...

Well, I didn't buy them from the people THEMSELVES. I bought them off vendors.

I mean, seriously - there's no better source for loot than a Shipwright or Merchant with no concept of what's good and what sucks.
