I think there is too much on screen when flying. Sometimes I turn everything off (ctrl + alt + h) and fly around, just to enjoy it. It also makes combat a lot harder, thus sometimes more fun. Especially when loosing an enemy out of sight in an asteroid field.

I wish there was a way to control the amount of stuff on screen. Can one turn of the radar,targeter etc individually?

Also it would be nice if you had a choice of targeters, bigger and smaller ones.

Not to speak of the huge, flashing missile targeter!
