Which would be better? Quest reward as a deed or as a schematic?

I'm not giving SOE $30 just for one ship. Maybe if they get thier heads out of thier wallets and realize this one expansion is priced more than the Total Expierience I might get it someday. If not, don't really care. Garbage.

Technically, it's not just for one ship. You can go to another planet, battle droids, talk to Obi-Wan Kenobi, and, ummm, fight.......lava things and, errr...........drive...around and...stuff.

Very true. But what if i don't want to do all that? I haven't done anything in the ground game since i discovered the joys of flying. (And i got tired of seeing lightsabers everywhere, and all the 'l33t' and 'pwning!!!!!1!!!!11!!!') So i just really don't care to go to a planet that's gonna be full of idiots. I guess if you have the patience to put up with all that garbage it would be worth it, but i really don't lol.

To sum it up "Adventure, excitement? A crafter craves not these things." (Kinda)

This was in the FAQ:

What reason will there be for Combat Level 1 characters to get the expansion?

With this expansion we are offering a variety of content and adventures that will interest players of all different professions. For crafters there will be new crafting schematics, as well as new resources available that can only be found on the planet of Mustafar. Dancers, entertainers, and musicians will certainly be interested in the new dance, dance props, and song that you can get there. And anyone with a ground vehicle will benefit from the three additional vehicle slots available in the datapad as a bonus with purchase of the expansion. The broad range of new features, creatures and resources included in this expansion along with the pre-order rewards, the purchase rewards, and some other currently unannounced content all add up to a powerful new episode for our game. We think you will find that there are lots of reasons non-combatants will be interested in this new expansion.

So I guess there at least a little bit of a plus to owning this. I just really want the YT-2400. I wonder if we actually get to see to Outrider.....

Yeah, i guess. But i don't want to encourage SOE to moneygrub anymore. I can almost hear thier thoughts now...."HEEEEYYYYY!!!!! Lucas is gonna make a TV show of Star Wars?! Let's make another expansion! This time we'll bring in all the cast from the show AND Exar Kun!" I guess that's not too bad a thing, I mean it is keeping the game updated and 'fresh' as far as playability goes...

Weird that they don't mention that half the quests can't be finished due to bugs, so you'll have to play rotw quests.. ehm.. jtl content... ehm swg quests/content ehmm... grind jedi while waiting for the bugfixes?

Look at it this way, lol. With all of the d00ds running around on Mustafar, we can actually land and enjoy each others company until they hit the bugs in there quests.

Good point. If you preorder it don't you get it early? If so it might cut out some of the 'l33tn3$$' everywhere else while all the uberd00ds find all the bugs, post em on the forums, whine at each other, brag about thier uber glowsticks or uber jedi killers, and how they are sploiters or something. It might be good for something, but SOE isn't getting $30 bucks out of me for it lol.

Other than the one ship, I'm still not hearing about much that would appeal to pilots. Consider how many of us that prefer space to the ground, that's certainly a gap in the philosophy behind the new expansion.
