I've got a big mix of components I'll be REing in the near future if possible, but I am more than willing to take my time on them if they need it. I'm basically saving all the stats to my /notepad and comparing what I loot to it and replacing when necessary, and vendor searching in between. This is what I have so far:

My thoughts - Shave off some mass (aiming for 24k), bump up the yaw and definitely the roll. I found engines with YR of 70.7/70.3 on the baz, but I might try looting my own until I beat those ones. For the speed, I might take a couple more shots at nym's quest for a near-100 QID. I'm hoping for a roughly 73PYR pre-RE and crossing my fingers on getting ahold of a faster QID.

My thoughts - This RE project is just about done, since no L4 booster I've either looted or found on vendor search has beaten a single stat, and to get the best I can of all stats in 4 items isn't something I can likely do again if I have to change something. I'd give this one the go.
I know I've chipped in my ideas on them, but is there anything you think I failed to consider, or anything I mentioned that I don't really need to improve? Thanks for any input, I'm real eager to be able to make these into a nice loadout for my fighter(s) but as always, I don't want to rush and have nice parts with one or two ugly stats screwing them up.

Hell, you've nearly got as many projects on the go as I have! Anyway;
Level 10 weapon can be improved a bit, the vs. values can be at around .794 looted, pre RE, and like you said, mass and drain can come down by a fair bit, I've got a drain with 2k, but they can go lower.
Level 8 weapons mass is too high, you can get 23k mass pre RE, my best so far is 23051.2 and the drain can come down a bit too, 1.7kish, and get the vs. armor up a bit too.
Level 7 weapons mass can come down too, I've heard of just under 13k pre-RE, and the refire can be improved too, .306 or so.
Level 6 Cap can be improved a fair bit too, my post RE best mass is 7.6k and pre-RE 47.7 recharge rate.
Level 8 engines can get YPR, pre-RE of 75, very rare, but they do drop, I'd settle for 73.5-74.5 and the mass can go down to 20kish post-RE.
And lastly level 8 Sheilds, the mass is way too high, my best sheild mass is 25k post RE, but there are better, and it's recharge rate can be improved, I've got an 18.45 waiting for the right mass to RE.

Wait until you at LEAST get a 19xx drain or lower.
Refire can be as low as .390 (I have several .39x ranging from .393 to .396)
Damage looks like a good spread.
L8 Weapon:
Mass can be even lower than 24k pre-RE, you're just looking at a lot of looting to do it.
Drains can go as low as 15-16xx on L8s (and L7s).
Refire looks fine.
L7 Weapon:
Get a Boltdriver.
Drain can be lower.
VA can be higher (I have .64x L7s, but only two, so anything in the .63x range should be considered rare).
EPS could POSSIBLY be about 2-3 points lower.
Don't settle for anything higher than .320 refire.
L7 Reactor:
Watch the boards like a hawk for a Vortex Mk3.
Masses can get down into the 11-12k range (someone CLAIMED to have a 7k L7 once, but obviously such a monumental part wasn't worthy of a screenshot to back up the claim)
L6 Capacitor:
Mon Cal Modified Heavies and Qualdex Heavy Capacitor Arrays are where your attention should be for both drains and masses (shoot for about 76-7700 and any drain under 699.9). Get your hands on a Rendili K-Class for hps in the 5xx range. Regen could be far higher - Qualdex Conservator QX2's - don't settle for anything less than about 46.2, but I've gotten QX2s in the 48.x to 50.x range, pre-RE. Pool should be in the high 1200s or 1300s all by itself - typically the L6 Corellian caps are the standard in this category.
L8 Engine:
Don't settle for anything less than about 73.0+ in at LEAST the pitch and yaw category. You need at least 71.8 post-RE in roll to get a 1.3 mod. Drain COULD be in the 1300s but low 1400s is satisfactory. Mass could be EASILY around 25k and preferably lower. Finally, try to see if you can get some friends to run the Starmap with you and try to get your hands on at least a 95.5 QID for a 100.0 post-RE speed.

I forgot to specifically mention that some of the stats that aren't yet RE-worthy (such as the high masses for the guns/shields/engine and some of the drains) are just "placeholder" components so I have some stat to fill the slot with on my /notepad. The shield's mass I agree is pretty bad, considering I saw a 26k mass L8 on a vendor (wasn't for sale, /cry) but I figured I'd throw in something lighter than the 43.5K!!! (eww) non-RE'd reward shield I'm using right now in my heavy X.
Trust me, I'll take everything here into consideration, and thanks for the replies so far 
I'll be sure to follow up when the time comes that I finish my RE jobs

...well, it's a good thing I don't intend on REing my VMk3 until I NEED it. My best is 11015.6, I think - Supernova Advanced is the brand.

Yeah, I thought I was misreading it when I first got it. Thought I was missing a 1 in front, but I aint gonna argue my luck. Got that sucker planned for my krayt when WO3 fix is in.
