Thread: Space Loot Table for identifying good loot

Hmm...should I sell this loot or keep it...That's the problem I had, and I guess I am not the only one. After making this table checking the loot has been easy and fun.

Space Loot Table identifying good loot

The table is also useful for REing to check is some of the stats inferior so you won't waste good loot. BTW each sell has enough room to record your own currently best values to easily see when you have enough good stats to make the final REed product.

Please comment and send me error bugs, suggestions, etc. but please bear in mind that all values are only opinions.

Credits to KaylBreinhar for his article about REing, which made me do some minor changes, and SpaceLoot.com for providing a lot of info about how far the stats can really go.

You might want to put caveats in for items whose RE level differs from its use level. Can't believe the numbers of times I've seen a 2k mass level 10 droid interface and got all excited until I saw the RE level is 3.

That's pretty cool! I'm not sure I fully understand the table. Maybe I have to look at it some more.

I should probably clarify what exactly I don't understand: The numbers on the 'usable' boxes: are those considered to be the minimum for usefulness?

Good point, but not sure yet how to add that in the table though.

They are values for good loot. However, If the item doesn't reach them it can still be very usable item, but probably not the right component when you are building your uber engine But ifit exceeds the value inthe tablethe item is ingenerally very good and can be used forquality REdproducts (some elite pilots will seek even higher values, however).

For lower level items and stats which are not very important or which don't have much variety, like the drain in weapons, I put values which are quite easy to reach. For important values which have wide variation the value can be hard to reach, like Recharge with capacitors, for example.

Awesome sheet. I do see one mistake in it though.

L4 Boosters - You stated that the only boosters that can get 450 drain are reward, but this isn't true. I recently looted a L4 booster that has 418 drain.

Otherwise, it looks like a great set of guidelines. Thanks!

Very nice job Janann. This is precisely the sort of thing I had in mind when I created spaceloot.com.

Mind if I link it from the site?

Very nice. I will be pointing lots of people at this table.

One change I would make is mark all but level 8 and 10 droid interfaces as disposable, or maybe "low speed vs mass". For all other cases, crafted is faster for the mass. Well, high quality crafted is anyway. Even a level 8 is iffy. Sure, its mass and speed is between Mark IV and V crafted, but it still weighs a ton.

You are right. I haven't made in this table any comparisons to crafted components since thequality may varymore or lesson different servers, probably less, but if that's the situation on every server I could change the table for the next version.

No, I don't mind at all. Without your site making the table would have been a lot harder

Nice drain there! Okay, I remove the loot mark for the next version, thanks!

Yeah, I about fell over when I saw it. I didn't think it was possible either. When I get home I'll check to see what kind it is. After patch 24, it'll RE down to right near 400 flat.

Is that right on the Lv 7 Reactors? 25k gen 14k mass? or should they be flopped? Never seen a lv 7 with 25k gen or a mass of 14k.
