This Double XP week has been a godsend for those pilots trying to finish off the top tier to get master. However, due to the Combat Revamp and the Respec, master badges are not given to any profession...even those that have nothing to due with combat (ie; Pilots, Artisan Professions and Entertainer Professions).

Many of these people do not want to wait two weeks to get the badge because they are looking to drop the skill and pursue other things. If they do so, they will not receive the badge or benefits from accomplishing master (pertaining to master pilot xp boost), which ultimately makes their work futile.

Mastering these professions took a lot of hard work, sweat and tears to complete and we deserve to have our badges, even if they come after the Respec Week.

In Summary:

1. You can not Respec to these professions

2.These Professions have little nothing to due with (ground)Combat

3. Mastering these (pilot) professions is currently a waste of time due to no Master boost

4. The Combat Revamp and Respec should not interfere with other aspects of the game such as Space

5. We want our Master Badges and Benefits even if they are delayed until the completion of the Respec Period

i think the reason of not letting people master elite professions is because of the jedi thing or use to be jedi thing, and other reasons.

use to dont never wanted to hurt myself that way. IF you mastered all the professons you automaticly get jedi unlocked. Also do you really want a bunch of people running around claiming they mastered all the professions when all the did is respec themselves to death to get master on everything atleast once.

I maybe wrong but my 2cents. If they would actually give a reason why instead of no you cant do that and we are not telling you why is stupid imo, but that fits into my theory they are all on drugs now.

If you read my post thoroughly this only concerns non-combat professions such as pilot, artisan, entertainer etc. And on the contrary, they changed the entire jedi system about 6 months or so ago. It's no longer mastering all the professions, its a system of getting force sensitive by earning different badges, the doing quests at the village. Too much to explain here but if you want to be educated about it I suggest you check out the Force Sensitive or Jedi Profession Forums.

If I remember correctly, it was said that when the Respec is over, any professions you have Master in at that point, will give you the Master badge. I would suggest waiting untill the respec is over and checking to see if you get the badge the next day when you log in.

The thing is, manycompetent pilots don't simply keep the master, they drop and start a new one because of afew reasons:

1. The Rewards Components are very valuable and many are better than anything looted or crafted (this doesn't pertain to my original post but explains why pilots drop and regrind)

2. Once one Masters a Piloting Profession, one gets a %boost for xp: XP+100% for the first completed faction master and XP+200% after 2 masters etc.

3. For the satisfaction of getting the badge

I hope you understand what I'm trying to do now, if not please go rest, and try again later.

dont get me wrong i understand what your saying but by droping a master pilot profession and picking it up again since it is not included as a respec at anytime atm. I really dont understand i guess how the respec is affecting you. You should still be able to get progress throught thetrees get the rewards and continue. So how doesthe respec hurt this.Your right i really dont know how much the jedi thing has changed andi really dont care to many of them running around as it is. It was just a thought. free country to think sometimes that is. Just dont tell anyone i was tonight.

The main issue here really is The XP boost, which is a major benefit of mastering a pilot profession. That's all I want really.

I understand what you're doing and saying, I'm just suggesting you wait to drop untill after the respec is complete. Surely you can find something to do in the meantime other than starting another squadron. Hell, you could grind for componets in Kessel or Deep Space, in the mean time.
