Thread: Change the mining laser to a beam?

I love the new firing effect it has, but it looks too much like a normal weapon still.


Personally, I think it should have been a beam, like the tractor. Would look more like a "laser" than a blaster. Mod the stats so it gives the same DPS, but make it a beam.

I second changing that into a beam, but for a different reason. If you have to take out a tier 1 or 2 xwing I need to be able to tell where I'm shooting. I can't do that with the big flames. Since I don't have a ship with 2 gun slots yet I have to use the laser as a weapon too.
