Thread: Storm Squadron, Tier 3 Mission 3
You say our blowing them up... have you tried disabeling them? Disabling takes a ship out of the fight, MUCH faster. Try disabling one, and then move on to the next. Alot of times disabled ships will gather in pile which is convienant for "clean up".
I've done this mission before, and like you I failed it the first couple of times I tried it. My advice is to just keep trying, you'll get it eventually, you might want to either bring some more pilots with you, or perhaps you could make some adjustments to your ship giving you either more firepower or more manueverability (or whatever you think might help you take them down faster). You're going up against some a-wings, so I'd suggest getting a high quality engine if possible.
Good luck.

Can someone tell me what is required to finish this mission? I've done the escort at the end four times now, and failed each time. The description earlier says that we need to blow up "at least four waves" to make it seem real. We go in, and blow them up. We don't always do it fast, but we get them blown up. There are never more than 3 or 4 ships left at the end of the mission, yet it fails me every time. Last time, we had all but the last A-wing in the fourth wave left when the 5th wave came. As I was chasing that last A-wing down, it despawned on me. Just disapeared completely. The ships remaining tally still counted it every single time, though. I'm getting really, really sick of this mission. What is the secret?
Had the same problem. It's because you're killing too slowly. Better bring 1 - 2 wingmates. It'll be easy then. And -yes- kill every single ship of a wave to make sure there are no survivors(sucks that one despawned on your one attempt
). You'll get a "you're doing good - keep them busy" message between waves when you're killing fast enough. Keep an eye on if you receive that message or not.
