Thread: Tier 4 advise if you would . . .

Alright, I have seen alot of posts asking about good spots (other than duty missions) to crank out that Tier 4 exp. I have spent several hours flying around and haven't found any of the good spots.
Anyone have any WPs or otherwise to direct me so I can begin the grind?

First, jump to Dathomir Sector 4. Step 1, flip through the targets until you find a Tier 5. There are usually 3 other Tier 5's along with the one you target. If you're well armed you can kill them. Step 2,TAB your nearest target, which is usually a Tier 4 ship, and destroy it and its friends. Step 3, repeat Steps 1 and 2 as necessary.

I used the Red Sin hyperspace point in Endor a lot to get through tier 4. Theres usually a bunch of tier 4 fighters with fast respawn.

Space PvP is pretty rare on intrepid, I have run across 6 players that I could fight so far, 1 in kessel, and 5 in deep space. I would go to kessel overt not to PvP but for the faction bonus. Tier V ships give around 8K space combat xp plus around 50 FP if yo are overt. Just a little added bonus while I leveled.I do not recall any SCXP orFP for PvP kills...actually the only way I have found to tell you got the other guy is when he suddenly disapears, there is no notification that I have seen

i got my first space pvp kill the other day, and was very disapointed to see....
nothing.
i should get a space ear or something
and does /showpvp reflect space pvp too?

Best exp I've found (kinda flies in the face of your question) is Duty missions. If you're Alliance, there may be a mission where you can "Strike a Blow against Black Sun." That's the one I use. They give 3200 xp a pop, die fast, and spawn 2 at a time, 3, then 4, 5, 6, and then the waypoint changes to anotherarea 1km away and you repeat. I can get 600k in two hours.

Well I dont know what faction you are, but if you are able to shoot rebels go to kessel. Rebel gunships are easy to kill, if they dont flip on you. The gunships in kessel usually give around 23k xp a pop. One thing you can do is find a master pilot to take you to kessel and get xp. I do this regularly with my YT-1300 and Krayt fighter.
