The first ship I purchased a tie fighter was like this and it was the biggest mistake I ever made in the game. All the parts were your standard SW made items and I was not able to solo with that ship at all. If you want to solo, thenyour standard SW items are not good enough, you need the best equipment that less then one handfull of SW per server are able to make.
Which is why I have no intention of putting in just manufactured items. As a Master Shipwright/Ace Pilot I collect a fair amount of loot, which I then RE. (Someday I'll have a Firespray, I just keep telling myself that) The *best* items I keep, the rest get dumped off at the chassis vendor. Only top-flight items will be going into the package deal. My business plan is based on sales and reputation made from word-of-mouth advertising, so selling someone a great chassis with lousy components isn't going to increase sales.

My guess is if I put together an Ideal Oppressor (gunship version or missileboat version, your choice!) bag and put a pricetag on it, it would get an email from my vendor saying *sale incomplete* as many times as I put it up.
Ya that is my thinking too. Partly because the pilot may have a well earned RE'd LVL (whatever) part or 3 that are better then what is in the "bag" that they are trying to fit in.
I also did not think about the fact that you can not see what's in the bag so (and I amnot trying to say the orginal poster is anything less then 100% ethical) it would take a leap of faith from non-friend pilots to pay a nice chunck of change for parts that they can not inspect. Probably why you also see most armor vendors as individual items rather then a travel pack named [80% base composite, full set]

put it bluntly : i have yet to come across a vendor on my server that has any RE'd component i would actually buy for my ship. likewise : it is very hard to find a shiprwright to do the RE'ing work. result : i have hundreds of loot pieces stacking up in my house waiting for the odd shipwright to RE.
Go to the shipwright forums and post a request... and your server forums as well, actually.
I'm sure you'll find someone, if you allow that they RE for you but keep any FS disks they find in the job.
