Thread: the does the corvette spawn in kessel at certain times?

i have been going to kessel once every 1 or 2 days for almost 2 months now, i go the wp where its supposed to spawn but i have never seen the one i'm supposed to attack. i have seen the one imp attack 3 times but never the one i'm supposed to attack. so is does it spawn at a certain time?

I took down five Rebel Vettes tonight along with their escorts. At one time, three were within visual range of one another.
Once those were eliminated, three IMPERIAL Vettes spawned, also within visual range of one another.
...so at least now, it seems to be somewhat sporadic.
I DID notice something odd, though - on destruction of the Rebel vette, literally SWARMS of Rebel fighters started
When I took out that group of three (before making damn sure first that no Vette groups were showing up on /who), the amount of Rebel fighters in Kessel was ASTOUNDING.
It reminded me of the old days.

well before i read the post by Kayl I was gunna say that the vette is on a 120 minute timer (2 hours). It will spawn at the wp and fly around for 30 minutes. after it despawns it will take 90 minutes for it to spawn again.
A couple of things can mess that cycle up. Ive heard if people dont destroy escorting gunboats it messes up the timer... and a couple other things.
From Kayl's post it sounds like the system is totally messed up, at least on his server.
The only advice I can give you is keep at it. Unless you can determine the timing of the vette... you just gotta sit at the wp and wait. So many things junk up the works its hard to give you a better answer than that.

I hate to share my hard earned trade secrects j/k (and I am on a different server) but I have noticed that the "Star Ravager (seen many many times) spawns every 2 hours about 20-25 minutes past the hour. I have seen times where it has not spawned and this might be due to the fact that ya need to be 10-15 minutes early to have a spawn. But EVERY time I have seen it the spawn has been right ona schedule and the same spot. The Corellian Corvette seams to spawn 1 hour later, but I have only lead one mission to kill this one so I can't say anything definate....
