PCI Latency. NForce2 bios sets it at 32 and it needs to be slowed to 64.
Hope this info helps the people not willing to look through thousands of headache inspiring posts. This problem would come and go for me...I could play in the morning and then in the afternoon everything would get all screwy until the server reset the next day, so I was convinced it was the server and not my computer.
Last night I had started to develop problems and I started looking through more posts until I found one with a guy explaining about how Nforce2 Bios settings link theUSB ports and the pci latency clock. It has something to do with the frequency that the throttle updates clogging the BUS and he suggested slowing the bus to 64 as it solved his issues. I slowed it (which actually gives all your pci slots better performance) and when I logged back in my problem was solved. Hope this helps some of you out there as I know this is one seriously annoying bug.
