Sounds like what I was mentioning earlier about freelance POB's. It is only for freelance. We can co pilot for them, but a freelancer has to have a freelance co pilot. It seems you can run droid commands form the turrets though, so I don't care now.

The Co-pilot needs to have the same pilot faction as the pilot. So if the pilot is a alliance pilot then the co-pilot has to be an alliance pilot also. Same for freelance and Imperial

thats not how it worlks atm tho, my alt with only novice freelance could copilot on a rebelnova and run droid commands the other night,

the point being this new YT is a universal (pilot) ship that all pilots can fly, but they seem to forget how to copilot depending on who is sitting in a different chair to them..

I am thinking it is linked to the pilot and not the ship. I agree that they need to change it, but you will get the same arguments I got this morning. All I wanted was someone to do shield shunt in battle. So I am good if the turrets can do it as stated.

Im freelance, and my rebel friend can fly the ship but he cant copilot it, and im guessing if he owned it i wouldnt be able to copilot but i would be able to fly it...

how dumb and what a let down is that !!
