Hey guys.
I'm sure this has been discussed here before, just can't find it.
Does anyone know if there is a reasonwhy starship combat and pilot prestiege XP can't be converted to force XP? I was once told that it was because pilot XP was way to easy and quick to get. If that's the case why can't they just up the ratios? Like to 100:1 or something
I love to fly but I always feel like if I want to develop my force sensativity then I have to ground pound. None of my friends want to come fly with me becasue they're all trying to get "useful" experience.

Mainly because Pilot takes up no ground SP's, so deserves no Conversion rate. But also if anything force wise can get it's foot in the door in space, it may lead to Jedi skills in space, which about the worse thing that could happen to JtL.

First, thankyou for making a constructive post rather than demanding changes or whatever.
This issue has been discussed by many members of the Pilot Community, and the general concenus is that Space and Jedi should remain isolated from one another. Many of us dislike the way Jedi works, and want to stay away from it. Also, a majority of (not all) the Jedi community are very demanding. We feel if a small part of the Jedi game were added to JTL, then eventually fully-fledged 'Jedi powers' and other malarky would be added to space.
Many of us play JTL because it is different from the stale, groundpounder, click-and-watch combat. Therefore we want to stay away from all elements of it.

Hmmm.. Thanks for the responses.
Politician does not take any Skill Points either yet it converts at 3:1.
The space game it a great thing in and of itslf and I completely understand why you would not want to muck it up with Jedi space skills. It seems to me though that it's still part of the game and that the XP should convert.
So... this brings me to my next question then. Is there any use for pilot XP after you're a master pilot? (with the exception of getting into deep space.)

You could use it to keep track of how many blacksun you kill trying to get a helmet.

You could use it to keep track of how many blacksun you kill trying to get a helmet.
OR how much experience you get while loot farming.
But, the simple and unfortunate answer to your question, is no ![]()

At least one bonus with the new system, no more FS, so no more FS conversion posts!
