Dumb question time (since the search feature is not agreeing with me)...
While doing the final mission for the heavy x-wing quest,I died twice and ended up back at the Kashyyyk space station and repaired my damaged parts. Now my question is this:
Since I blew upshouldn'tmy components have takedamage against their original stats? Where can I check to see if my components have take any damage/decay over time?
The reason I ask is because I wrote down my stats when I bought them (to compare them to the next time I need to upgrade) and I checkedmy componentsafter I blew up and repaired, and they still had the same numbers.
....is it not like armor/weapons that list the 15535/40000 after engaging in battle?
Also, what does the xxx/1000 mean, say on a capacitor or engine? Is it better to have 500/1000?
Thanks...

press v while in space, or use your datapad to view components while on the ground, or a starship terminal.

If your component had 500 armor it would list as 500/500 in pristine condition. Suppose it took 200 point of damage it would be listed as 300/500. Once you repair it decay kicks in (1 point decay for every 10 points repaired) and it would be listed as 480/480.
If you're not seeing any difference there then all the damage that blew you up went to the chassis.
The xxx/1000 on cap or shield just means they're not fully charged. Once you launch they will recharge to their full energy level.
