Thread: Pilot Bugs/Issues
With bugs, list any and all of them, no matter how old or neglected they may be. Try to be as detailed as you can. With issues, go ahead with anything; if there have been any good threads on them you can dig up, providing links would be most cool.
Thanks everyone.
1.) Weapon overload 3 bug. like.. yesterday. By now this is foundation rocking.
2.) Changing boosters automatically removes your FC from your ship.
3.) Chaff wont reload sometimes. No idea why. Mash button 10K times, it no worky GI!
4.) Missles wont reload sometimes, also have no idea why. Mash button 10K times, it still no worky GI!
5.) Mission patrol bug. Patrol to fast, mission doesnt progress. See inquisition Tier 4.
6.) Krayyshih (sp) station mission and Eyma the cast iron $@*^# squid with the memory of an elephant.
7.) Rebel station in DS that is invincible to blaster fire. (havent tried missles yet, ill bet they work, if they dont ill come back here and scream like a little school girl and throw a big tissy fit)
8.) Corvette mission needs to be retard proofed. Gunboats should exit at hyperspace with or without the vette.
9.) Inablity to paint / texture ship slots numbers 4, 5, and 6. (or was this fixed?)
10.) can't think of it right now, but i know its there. It'll hit me like a brick in the face later i'm sure....... OH YEAH, *cough* storing parts in a POB ship. Having them show up in the management screen is kind of annoying.
11.) OH yea........ Misc unmentional gamebreaking *cough* "bugs" *cough* that sony knows about, but does nothing to fix. I cannot beleive these are allowed to persist. Unfreakingbeleivable.

Okay, lemme try to think of some POB bugs:
- Admin is broken in POBs
- Can't move items up and down in the Y-8
- Y-8 quest: convoy escort mission broken; can't complete quest
- Speed reset to 0 when speed returns to normal after boosting
- Handling controls reversed after booster juice runs out

Also heavy x-wing quest, rebel station 1st mission the convoy blows up everytime usually with 81% shields still
- Speed reset to 0 when speed returns to normal after boosting
- Handling controls reversed after booster juice runs out aye this one ive seen for ages, cant remember what patch bugged it up
jeez yeah they do.
BUGS
1. ISD and Rebel Base have problems when firing, specifically the fps close to the respective base can drop to 3. may be related to the # of turrets, may be a graphics issue. Isn't system related because it's a recent problem.
2. Rebel Base's components aren't targetable in DS
3. The death x8 bug.
4. good god WO3, please. i know it's been mentioned, maybe you could put it on the list twice. ![]()
5. royal guard tie hitbox?
6. rebel gunboats fire all guns (including the bottom ones) towards their top 180 degrees.
7. destroying the rebel gunboat on the right hand side prevents the spawn from "flipping" into a new position (and firing on you). destroying the middle or left prompts them to shift.(think from below and behind)
8. inviting group members on a MP ship: click invite and click close before player accepts invitation. the invite bugs and you are forced to launch and land to reset it.
ISSUES
1. balance pass for pre-ROTW ships
2. re-examine strength of POB components (had to try)
3. re-examine duel mechanic (it sucks)
4. kessel spawns?

I was gonna mention that, but i think we need more info before we start screaming bug. Im gonna try and group with someone, and go up in a T/I, T/A, and IGI, and see what type of box is drawn around me in each ship. Im theorizing it will reflect the hitbox. operative word being theory. Ill try and put all 3 pics together for a side by side comparision this weekend.

Honestly i think the hitbox is probably of the correct size, but misplaced. While flying it i noticed that the top part of the box seems to stick out the top portion ball. So only half or a litte more than half of the hit box is acutaly ON the ball, hence only a hit in the upper portion of the ball will regester. Im thinking if you were to push the box down, so that the top part of the box was flush with the top part of the ball, then the whole ball, would regester a hit and not just the upper portion.

Another bug: EO, RO, and WO droid commands all result in delay of 5x the droid interface's speed in seconds, no matter the level of the command. As Capacitor Overload shows, these are supposed to be 1x for O1, 2x for O2, 3x for O3, and 5x for O4 commands.
