Thread: New Reb space mission from Rori space station

The new Reb mission from Rori --- Second Mission ---- goto Yavin to highjack Bovo bomber.
I've tried this mission twice and both times it's failed --- the bomber once captured ---- fails to hyper out . It just slowly moves but doesn't hyper ---well not after an hour anyway ...
Has anyone completed this mission?

Yes, I've done it. It can take a long time. I believe the trick is to have the bomber fully repair itself (I didn't check it all the time, but pretty often), which means keeping the intercepting Borvo fighters off it as much as possible. I found also that disabling did not stop fresh spawn of the fighters so I just kept shooting them down till the bomber skedaddled.

Yeah, I did this mission, the other day, I got bored, and hypered out after an hour or so. So, I can't help you, other than to make you feel better knowing, that you aren't the only one who's struggled with it.

What I did was leave one fighter left, and made sure he was disengaged from the bomber. It was a lot easier on my repetitive motion stress. The second you take out the last attacker (it counts the bomber, so leave 2 including it when the droid pilot tells you how many attackers are left) a new group of attackers spawns.

It does take a while for the bomber to hyper but it will do so eventually. It takes something like 30 - 45 minutes for it to leave. You just have to wait it out. All I can say is that destroying all those fighters nets you a decent credit chip and possibly a decent amount of loot. Whether or not the loot is actually worth anything is a matter of luck.
