Thread: Probably not news, but is this a missile bug?

So I recently purchased a Mark I Seismic missile launcher and a pack of Seismic missiles, but I'm having trouble getting them installed.

First, the launcher wouldn't load. I'm certified for it, there's energy and mass to spare, but I'd click LOAD, the button would depress and the tone would sound, but nothing else would happen. Then I tried to load the missiles -- I didn't expect them to load since the launcher hadn't, but the exact same thing happened. No message saying I couldn't load them without the launcher, just nothing. The launcher and the missiles both stayed in my inventory.

So out of curiosity, I went to the chassis dealer to see if he would buy them and he said I had nothing he was interested in buying. I checked and both compenents were still in my inventory, but the chassis dealer didn't want them. Then I went back to the starship terminal, did everything the same as before and tried to load the launcher -- and this time, it worked! But the missiles still wouldn't load.

Anybody have any idea what's going on here?

Happened with my Spacebomb II launcher a while back. Just keep closing and opening the terminal or log off and on until it 'takes' it.

The ship management screen does behave oddly with some parts, another good one is that your flight computer/astromech will fall out of your ship if you remove the booster...

And, the chassis dealer didn't want the launchers because he doesn't buy player made components.

Ya I do see this some (enough ). I just quit and restart the ship terminal and it always tends to work the second time...

Thanks --I logged off, then logged back on, tried again, still didn't work. Then closed the management screen and opened it and tried again three or four times and it finally worked.

This pretty much can happen with any missle. Like the others said leave the ship term and come back fixes it most of the time if that wont work log in and out.

I've had this problem recently too. I just kept clicking Load (probably 10-15 times) and they finally loaded.
