The Chickenspray is not that bad a ship, but being Imp I have a lot of really good low mass stuff, and I can pack it al into my Oppressor just as easy as the Chickenspray and have better firing pattern. I would say the advantage is the missiles, I can pack spacebombs in the Chicken, and in the Opp I am using Protons....but for me, missiles are not that important, and my big guns go into the Opp just fine, sooo...Opp it is, especially since the Opp is a *lot* cheaper to replace

Just made master and looking for a place on Bria that sells the above ships or if anybody has suggestions for reasonable prices/mass for each type.

Both the Krayt and Firespray will bebetween 150-200k mass, and the YT will have 5 million mass(there's a thread at the top of this forum with all the information on every ship).
As far as prices go, expect to pay anywhere from 500k for the Krayt and YT or more, and I've seen the Firespray sell for millions. I can't quote prices for your galaxy on that, only reporting what I've seen on Chimaera. Prices for master ships like the Krayt and YT are fairly constant since they can be crafted, however the Kuat Firespray is a rare and priced accordingly.

I've seen Firesprays for anywhere from 7 to 12 million on Starsider.
YTs from 600k up to a million, and Krayts for around 600k (I think it was).

So whats the point of having a firespray other than having a rare ship if its mass is about the same as a Krayt? I was hoping for something bigger since its quite easy to max out the mass on the Krayt with high lvl equipment. I'm I the only one that is disapointed with the fact thatthe Kraytonly masses about 20k more than the tier 4 ship? Thanks for all your input guys.

the krayt handles better than the rhix and has 20k more mass, plus it also has a rear-mounted turret. it is so worth it, i love the krayt. on lowca firesrays are at least 8mil

Last i was in the "ship market", SW's typicaly charged 5 CPU per ship on bria.
Master level ships are 150K in resources so thats an average price of 750K. Assuming it costs 2 CPU in resources, the acutal cost is about 300K to make a master level ship. The rest is pure profit. Just FYI.
Shop around,ive seen them as high as 800, and as low as 500, but 700ish seemed to be the average.
EDIT: if your privateer, i strongly advise against buying a firespray. Their way over priced and are inferior to the krayt gunship in my opinion.

ill agree with the krayt being way better than the firespray, but i definatley wouldnt say firesprays are overpriced, considering their rarity, i would call them a 'luxary item'
