I liken it to all those car freaks (like me)out there who look at a great car as a work of art. Like the 65-67 Ford Mustang. Well I'm a Spacecraft freak. I have the space bug. I love the idea of tweaking and manipulating my crafts so as to extract the highest level performance possible from each craft. Also, IMHO, Smugglers Alliance is the greatest faction to RP in. Flying through space between systems while overt with a POB full of friends (who are also good gunners) with the planet at your aft and the expanse of space and all it's diversions at your port is such a great feeling.. I look forward to it every day. Just being up there by myself brings me a certain peace, like being at the ocean. I don't know exactly why.

And being in my own YT-1300 makes the child in me smile. I love it! Even when I'm alone and I see the hyperspace countdown at ...4 I'll sometimes say, "Punch it Chewie!" And then off we go!!
