Thread: pilot XP to Force XP?

Just started thinking while my server was down... there hasn't been a way to convert any kind of Pilot XP into Force XP has there? I'm pretty serious about the game and just wanted to know if Pilots could convert XP into any kind of force XP such as reflexes and the such... Wow, I just repeated myself... any way, it would have probably been easier to go on the FAQ board... but give me a holla back.

If you had searched you would have learned that that is pretty much a dead horse. Currently Pilot XP does not convert, and given how easy it is to gain XP (I currently have 15 mil banked, and burn at least 2 mil a week in DS) It is probably a good thing.

I think one good thing from the CU is that there will probably be less people becoming Jedi. Now, if we could only eliminate the ones already in existence I would be happier. 
A little off topic there, but regarding converting space xp to force xp: Let's not and say we didn't, k?

The only way it'd ever be fair to implement would be if the conversion ratio were 500-1000:1.
That way 1 million prestige xp would convert to 1000-2000 FS xp. You'd need 50-100 million to get 100,000 xp. But then, people would master eight squadrons and abuse the multi-ace bonus.
As the other poster said, this is a dead horse. It's bad enough they're adding the Jedi Starfighter, which'll undoubtedly open this argument 50 million MORE times in the next month or two.

"dead horse" your secret code to find 5 pages on just this subject. Seek, read, learn before you post again. Well, actually only about 2 total pages of it is any good, the rest is drivel, but you need to look at it all to pick out any good bits.

I think most pilots will agree that we don't wont jedi wannabe's using our profession as the shortcut for "teh i win uber j3d3y3 sk!llz" on the ground.

Geez psiko, I'm surprised you posted that yourself. Don't you have a spokesperson around here that does all your talking for you? 
Original Poster: Thanks, but Pilot XP or Prestige Points belong in space, for space-related rewards, not for a ground-based profession. So many arguments against this idea, and yet to read a good one in favor of it.
