On TIE Aggressors:

They are tough, but once you know the trick you can stomp them. If you get into a mob of them, you'll have problems, but other than that, killing them is pretty straightforward.

Option 1: Joust while targeting weapon 1 (the turret). Jig loads as soon as you pass into the firing arc of the turret, shield shunt if you have to. Usually about two passes and the weapon is gone, then you kill it like any other TIE.

Option 2: Using Shield Shunt and keeping a good dodging pattern, target the gun and paste him like anything else. You can stay on him as long as your shields will allow. With a Tier 4 ship and shield shunt, that should be more than enough time to take out the gun, then he's no different than any other TIE.

Bottom line, pull his teeth and then kill him.

aye been targeting the turret.. seems to take ages to knock it out with 2 lvl7s and WO3. plus if your focused on one, his mate just flies around constantly nailing my shields from all angles.. without missing... and thats the killer.

I just practiced getting nerves of steel. Not dodging, twitching, lining my shot up, and staying on line no matter what shots are coming in. You can hammer them down pretty quickly that way. Two at once is tough, but you can remain clear by thinking of this:

Aggie turrets fire up and back. The AI takes advantage of this by having aggies take high climbing turns, with the top of the ship facing the inside of the arc. You can avoid some of the fire at this time by following him through the turn, but instead of turning inside him (normal tactic) sliding outside of him firing back and in. The closer you are to the top or bottom of the turret's firing arc, the more he will miss.

Just out of curiosity, are these Aggies part of the SA Duty mission? Most pilots avoid those for the exact problem you're having. Until you're an experienced Aggie hunter, its not worth the trouble. I recommend going to Theed Palace and getting a Black Sun Destroy Duty mission from the RSF tier4 trainer.

With that setup you should bring down the gun pretty fast.

Just make sure they dont fly in formation, thats usally the problem, if you tail two of emor moreeven tho they arnt that close they will bring you down fast.

Make em brakefrom eachother, fireing a shot or two usually gets em to changeflight pattern.

Now it helps when your flying a littleawing i guess,I rarelyget any trouble from the other agressors than the one im tailing.

You need to keep your speed up at all times ofcourse, yet another pro for the awing as it turns fast on high speeds.

Just target the gun, keep cool (as previously stated), and keep your speed up, shuntand/or JS if needed Jerking like mad and trying to dodge selldom works.

[ED] Sorry saw that your freelancer now, but either way it should be helpfull, If your smugglers alliance try the destroy duty on tier 4 from your trainer, all the aces are tier 4 agressors, gets a bit hard when your up against 5 of em, but its good practise, when doing those getting them out of formation is ecential if you wanna survive.

Ohh and Devs, Put a turret on the kessel ywings so imps get shot at everynow and then too.
