-As was said by a bunch of people when this was seen on TC, the target boxes around EVERYTHING needs to be toggleable. Makes things seem kiddy, and cluttered, and I don't want my hand held that much.
-Noticed a new particle effect for epulse, seemed pretty likely to cause slowdowns, but pretty. No idea if there have been any functional changes in Specials yet.
-No droid program icons, but the jumping men MUST GO!!
-on the whole, the new target squares are pretty nice. I like the "edge diamond" quite a bit, it would be nice if we could choose that OR the reticle arrow.

Thing i hate:
Waypoints are bugged. WHen you first login, you'll have them, but after you leave that planet/sector they are gone.

That waypoint stuff is affecting the ground, too. Seems like one of those things they might have fixed pretty quick, since you could possibly stand to lose a lot of items if you can't find your harvs, houses, etc.
By the way, I think the timers on droid commands may have been fixed. Anyone feel like comparing Overload 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s to see if they've got the proper delays now?

Another bug. I made macros for my hyperspace points. Today, they stopped working, but sometimes they do work but it takes them 10-30 seconds to register. I tried rewriting them, making new ones, nothing works. This is a more complicated patch than you were hoping for huh Tomo?

I have a new thing to hate...
Friday April 22nd is when made the Chimaera copy for conversion testing, and sadly, it's just before I did my latest squadron mastery, but more importantly it's before I got this.
Four times XP just isn't going to make up for it.

Effective immediately Bloodfin and Chimaera will be returned to the state they were in prior to the conversion (specifically to the dates listed below) due to an error in the data conversion process. This is the best way for us to ensure that your weapons, armor and other items are converted properly is to perform this procedure and then reapply the combat upgrade database conversion to these servers. We anticipate the servers returning to service on Friday, April 29th at 4:30 PM PDT.
- Bloodfin will be returned to Monday, April 25th
- Chimaera will be returned to Friday, April 22nd
Beginning Monday May 2, 2005 at 12:01AM PDT and ending May 9th at 11:59 PM PDT. Any time players of Bloodfin and Chimaera log in and play their chosen character(s), they will earn 4 times the eXPerience.

Speaking of overloads, does anyone else end up with a blown out capacitor when they use anything over Engine Overload 4? I've lost some really good capacitors to this. : /

I hate the fact that my ships weapons do not continuously fire when holding the trigger. Was this an intentional change or is it a bug?

OH I bet I know what happened.
The key maps got changed and now your fire button is also cycling a weapons group.
That happened to me on Test.
Your going to have to set up your keys again under keymaps to fix it.

You can build a work-around with macros for the droid commands luckily
