Ok can anyone explain to me what is needed to get the cargo bay or chassis(?) upgrade mentioned in my ship management screen (for my X-wing).

Is it stuff from ROTW, or can it be used now?

Cause the chassis upgrade thingy sounds like it may be the way you have an X modded into an X heavy, maybe? Its all very confusing!!!

ok what i have learned is the cargo bays are in now but useless until the expansion comes out. you will have to redeed to get the cargo bays in the list. You will not be able to access them until an actual cargo bay is install by a minier or sw.

i redeed all my ships before the cu and then generated them after then boom there they are. I did this so i wouldnt have to deal with the bug

edit: the modifeds are completely different ships to be bought if you want them you cant get your current ship upgraded. also to make them you will need the new ore that astroids will produce to make them.

Redeeding might not be neccisary. My YT was not redeeded but it has the cargo hold slot.

As it's been very confusing for many ofus the last 24hrs,i can tell you now that the new "crafted" rotw items did appear in my crafting tool schematics, however there was nothing listed for the "cargo bay".

I'm not sure if the "cargo bay" will just appear when rotw goes live or if you will have to do a quest to get the item installed.

Either way, it will be quite interesting to see what happens here in the coming week.

When I was putting the components back in my Decimator after the conversion, I noticed it had a cargo hold in it. My TIE Advanced did not. I think the ships that should have cargo holds in them got them automagically during the CU upgrade. It makes sense that my TIE Advanced wouldn't have much of a cargo hold or be a suitable mining ship.
