Please...someone from SOE please tell me that my ability to hold my trigger on the weapons of my SPACEship (emphasis on SPACE) and have them fire continuosly, will be returned to me so thatI can at least have one thing worth playing this game for.
I believe i can become accustomed to the ground revamp and i really like the new targeting system in space but the one trigger pull = one weapon fire, is truly unacceptable.. for me anyways. I really dont relish the idea of wearing out my trigger and buttons on my joystick by having to pull/push them for each shot...So please,please,PLEASE.....put them back the way they were before the GROUND COMBAT upgrade....if you do you will have my undying support...not to mention my $30.00 each month..if you dont, then i may very well have to reconsider my allegance to the game....Thank you Very Much.

Yep another bug.
I thought I could fix mine in the keymaps options but it didnt work either.
However until they do fix it try using the top row number keys.
If you group your weapons like I do you can reach up and press the number 1 key holding it down will repeat fire as well as 2, and 3 keys.

/agree. I thought the same thing about remapping, but nope. I just set my main trigger on my joystick to "fire weapon group 1" and it works like that, but I don't like doing that because sometimes I don't need all 3 weapons to fire.

I did not have that bug... probably resetted one of your options

I have a rather 'custom' keyboard/mouse layout and didn't notice any such problem. Take a good look through your keymap, especially at the 'Fire and Cycle' commands.

Personnaly, i use "fire current weapon group" and havent had any problems.

I don't combine my weapons into one group, as I like being able to use the number keys to fire individual weapons. This means that Mouse1 needs to Cycle or it won't use all of the weapon mounts.

I sometimes do that too. I think mapped it to where holding down shift + fire current weapon group would change the group. Works like a charm.
