Thread: Nostromo N52
i'v attempted to use it with flight and found that it tends to overide the joystick, better to stick with a keyboard, besides with macros being all but useless in space a keyboard is fine
Sorry if that came across confusing. I do not use a joystick, and wanted to just set up the keypad to be in place of the joystick and the keyboard. I don't really have any macros in mind for it, just a more comfortable place to control the ship from. If you have some loadout ideas for how you set it up when you did try it, I'd appreciate it!
I us it quite well of flurry. My fligh stick dosent roll so i set a toggle on the N52 for flight i can control my speed, roll, target , and componet targeting with it.
work quite well i am a teir 1 killing teir 5 stuff so if yaever need a wing man on flurry call me up. W00t hopt to finish teir 2 tonight gotmy grevious starship ready.
Also use the mouse as the Joystick if you dont have a joystick it will give u better control.2 hands 3-D BABY.

This is very much how I'm set up at the moement and I think its great.
Mouse for steering and firing
n52 directional pad for throttle and roll
n52 thumb button / space bar for toggling mouse modes
n52 function keys for selecting targets, shunting, inspecting, etc.
and i got lazy one day (ok.. trying to keep my other hand alive during some loot session) and made an auto fire macro that toggles on and off with the button above the directional pad
it works well and its the same setup position wise that i use on the ground.. just toggele profiles... so its a nice transition from space to ground and back (don't have to make room for the joystick or something)
