Thread: Where Do You Go For Your Space Loot?

As a Phoenixs Sqaudron Ace, and a Smugglers Alliance Ace, I'd always go and hit Linear Misima in Endor when I was looking to to RE something. Non aggro spawns, drop a wide range of loot, and you never seem to run out of targets. But with my alt an Inquisition Ace, I can't go there, because the spawns are also Imp.

So where do the RSF/Imp Pilots go when they want to get loot to RE something? What about the Rebels, are there other little spots you fin good for loot?

Deepspace.

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

No I don't, because the second there's any sort of mission in there, the PvE faction grind leave me alone whiners can cry "grief" and get PvP turned off or nerfed somehow.

Yup, I am beginning to think making Kessel PvP again would be good now, yes itll be hard for people to get their master missions, but it isnt impossible, the more places we have to fight the more fun you can have.

I go to Kessel. PvP isn't my thing, so Deep Space is out for me. Besides, I'm rarely an Ace long enough to go there anyway.

The phrases "No" and "Hell No" immediately spring to mind.

I usually do tier 4 Duty missions, either the one where you fight TIE's or the one where you fight Black Sun. I net about 100-200k in a credit chip, plus a bunch of parts I can usually sell for 200-300k to the Ship Chassis dealer, and then if I'm doing TIE's I get about 5k faction or if I'm doing Black Sun I'm praying I get a Black Sun Helmet (no luck so far).

I've yet to get a really nice component from these duty missions though. Admitedly, I've probably only done 5 or so, though I've done a LOT of looting in Deep Space and more recently Kessel a bit.I prefer doing Gunboats in Deep Space over anything, but they don't seem to drop much good loot, and it's mostly boosters or reactors...two things I don't need.

Actually, now that I think about it...I haven't looted a really good ship component in forever I'm dying to get some really high pre-RE level 8 engines to go with my 106.9 Nym engine, but that could take years at this rate.

To be honest, I think they have a point. Leave the grinders to the newbie areas and open up new sectors that are PvP enabled with PvP specific content.

Right now, they are really denying themselves the thrill of clenching your teeth saying "Oh sh*t, this is bad" as you juke your A-Wing under the Star Destroyer's bridge tower througha hail of green blaster bolts that light upDS like a Christmas Treebecause this guy behind you in a JSF or Crimson TIE is about to have your ass for lunch.

I'll grouch about ROTW ships, but I'll be damned if I argue the hardcore thrill of high speed PvP anymore. I'm just glad I found a way to do it without cheesing it up in a Clone Relic.

Added: OT (for a change) I go to Deep Space or Kessel.

For loot, doesn't it make a difference what tier you're hitting? I thought that was the whole idea behind camping the Evil Raider Tyrants ... easy kills, and Tier 3 tend to give L6 loot more or something like that.

The change of Kessel was meant to be a temporary measure until they cam up with another way to handle master missions. Personally, I'd like to see the addition of a "Dark Side" to Kessel where the master missions happen, and return Kessel to PvP. Of course, then there needs to be a goal involved with going to Kessel, kind of like a true goal in Deep Space would be nice. I think creating a situation in Kessel that is more faction independent and has squad vs squad fighting over Spice shipments might be nice. As an old starcraft fan, I miss 3 way fights.
