....but i'm gonna ask anyway.
When I'm piloting.... I'm busy flying, is there a way to quickly execute commands ?
My toolbar only pops up when I press a vital key. That means as i'm flying I have to press a button to get a console up then use the mouse to click one of my toolbar buttons.
As for the early droid commands I have no idea how i'm supposed to execute them.
So far I've managed to survive through basic piloting skills (i'm not bragging) But I know that i'm gonna come up against some decent pilots who are gonna fly circles around me unless I can get some of the commands going.
Any help or advice, no matter howobvious. very welcome...i'm pretty sure someones gonna tell me something really obvious that I should have spotted.
Secondly
I've been given a mission to "capture enemy ships" how exactly do i do that, I destroyed the first expecting it to surrender or something as part of the mission. But it didn't and I failed.
Again any help appreciated.

You have to change ur keymap settings into First Person Shooter Style or a setting that you can change and fits your style/look. Then you can assign all sorts of actions into a single key. There are other settings or Check Boxes you really have to spend time to set up. It took me a few days to get all of my settings done the way I like and I'm still wrestling with the mouse cursor ON/OFF thing...

First you have to program your droid with the commands you qualify for. Then while in space, you open ur window (forget what it's called .. Community or somethingand drag and drop the commands you want to use to your toolbar. You won't see them on the ground.

You have to Disable the ship by targeting their Engines (ship subcomponent - default is the [ ] keys I believe). Then you type /dock with the ship targeted (or use the Icon for docking in the setup window)
Again any help appreciated.

Put your commands in the toolbar and use them. You can use them without seeing them.
