Thread: so im back and trying JTLS

so far im loving being a pilot more then i ever did the ground game, and since i have my Luxury Yacht i dont even need to worry my house burned ages ago(banked everything before quitting last time and now i can put it in my boat).
space combat seems pretty good so far though i think ill need to buy a stick to do some of the stuff from the pilot FAQs.
http://www.solarflare.tv/swg/ships.jpgis my current collection. working on getting some engines for the ole Y-Wing(also working on Shipwright so i can equip and build my own lil fleet)
just wondering is the Z95 the best till X-Wing or are there some missions where the Y-Wing excels(ie Bombing missions since the Y-Wing is suppost to be a medium fighter/bomber).

With good components the z-95 is better than both y-wings at low levels, i only used the longprobe for the last T2 mission.
Once you can pack in a very nice engine etc the y-wing might be much nicer though, of course the heavy z-95 beats them all but isnt very fun.

Depends on which Z-95. The new Heavy mass variant is quite nice, and can carry whatever you need. The older one quickly becomes obsolete, and a Y-Wing will allow a young rebel pilot the ability to carry bigger equipment without really needing to worry about mass.

atm i have my newb Z95(aka Veridan Defender)with Starship Disrupters(im disabling Ties in the T1 missions in one shot lmao),
however once i can make some nice engines im going to try and use my Y-Wing(aka A-10 Warthog). i know its not the best handling ship but i can do pretty good with my Sorosuub 3000(aka Skytanic)when out exploring(attack proof craft is nice for just cruising the stars and its my new home as well)
