You know, the title of this thread made me think that there was going to be some very Not Safe For Work content inside. While you did manage to get a subject and a verb in there, which is technically all that is required to make a sentance, a few extra words wouldn't have hurt.

Tha is a very obscure fetish. I don't see how a TIE Bomber is sexy but whatever floats your boat mate! .


I must admit though, I am intruged by your quirky choice of ship. Rather original and I like that style of thought.

Hot box on a TIE smaller???



Try flying a Krayt M22. Its as big as a friggin YT-1300.

All the privateer vessels except the YT1300 are grossly out of scale compared to the Rebel and Imperial ships. They are roughly twice the size they should be based on the size of the cockpit. My old heavy Scyk looked like it had seating for four compared to an A-Wing.

Heh, no-one misses you in that thing. On the bright side, if they do missthey are in serious trouble after you bring your 3 x lvl 8 guns to bear...

y'know.. I actually fly my tie bomber and really like it, but y'know what it really needs if anything...



  • 1 more torpedo tube (it's a bomber for cripes sake!)

  • Forward firing gunner position. Not top, not bottom, forward.

I think that would just about rule. Krayt could still take you out snub-fighters would still turn faster, but it would make it a little more viable. Currently I use it for Corvette runs. Only wish I could see the confused look on someones face when they see a player flown TIE Bomber in DS.

The Tie Bomber is cheesy, but so dam sexy. Make the hit box smaller and ad a third gun.
