This may have been answered previously, and I looked through search and didn't find it, so I apologize in advance if this is a re-hash...
Do you still need the Master Pilot badge to use the Vaksai fighter? I am currently Freelance 4434 and halfway through the Vaksai quests and was wondering if I still need the badge or not (ie: Should I wait 'til MPilot before going back) . I know that it was considered as bug before and didn't see anything about it being fixed yet.

You should only need a tier 4 freelance ship cert to fly it...I don't believe you need either the Master badge, or the Vaksai badge itself, just tier 4 freelance ships box.
Also, you are so close, you might as well finish that mastery, if only for the exp bonus that you will get on your regrind...unless you are already capped at 4x, of course.

Yeah, I'm kinda stuck on the last T4 mission over Endor (I do fine until the second spawn of T5 Kimos, then get hammered.

Except for the three "heavy" starter ships, all of the RoW ships required you to have the 4xxx pilot box.
