During the part where you have to defend the base, one of the commandos spawned inside one of the observation towers. is there any way around this, or am I doomed to wait for a fix?

Just completely log out. After you log in again the quest vanished from the quest journal. But you can just speak to the Admiral again and the ambush will start over. Had to do this twice and then in the next step again. Took me almost a day to get the Jedi Starfighter thanks to all the bugs in this quest.

Or have yourself killed. Either way will reset it.

The rebel NPCs that are part of the attack respawn constantly in various parts of kahircho or whatever its called. Just tag one not in a tree, or reset yourself as described above.

The Jedi Starfighter-Quest on Dathomir/Kashyyyk - Ok, I am pretty sure now where my quest is jammed; I never successfully completed defending the village on Kashyyyk against the rebellian attack - that's Phase 2 - before I logged off and then on again. The Quest Window verifies this, as do Admiral Krieg. Speaking of the former; it is there the bug lies: the Quest Window indicates that Phase 2 is unresolved, but allthough that is the case; it is nevertheless inactive... What do I mean by that? Well, as it is withmany kill-this&that-please-quests on Kashyyyk - there was a counter. That counter is now gone. Earlier; when the quest was up & going/active-there was a counter that told me how many types of kills I had to do, and how many I had done. It's there no more.

I have filed a ticket/bug report. I have tried to restart the mission by grabbing a second datapad on Dathomir. I have talked again with Admiral Krieg a thousand times. I have tried to kill rebels attacking the city when I was solo, I have done the same when I was group with another mission-owner.

The situation is 100% jammed.

Is it going to stay that way forever? Or will it be possible to get a solution to this; e.g. a mission resetter?

I don't know if this will help but it has helped a few of my friends.

they have gotten stuck on the defend the base part as the rebs tend to spawn inside hills or some "helpful" passerby decides to nail one of your wookiees or troopers.

this part resets on death either at the hands of the npc rebs or by getting a friend to do the dirty with a doc/rez arm on standby.

as you logged out and now don't have a counter I am not sure if this will work for you but it maybe worth trying.once your back in the land of the living just go back to the admirial and he will tell you to get back out there the base is under attack.

If you relogged talk to the Imp Officer guy again, he should re-give it to you.

I very much appreciate the responses here. 1) I have talked to the imperial officer down under in Kashyyyk plenty of times already. For the last 4 days his reply is only that "...I should get back up there and take care of the rebels". And that is not a dialogue. It is an order; I have no chat-response-options to his statement. It is a dead-end. 2) And I have no rebels to fight up there because there are no rebels attacking the camp; on my behalf. 3) When I try to help others in their quests defending vs. the rebels I don't get any credit for it because I have no counter anymore in my Quest Window. I have tried to kill rebels this way as part of a group in which someone had this quest, and I have tried to do this as a "helpful" bystander/solo.

It is about 4 days ago I started this quest, and it has been like this since then. I am 99% sure that the reason this happened was that: a) I didn't kill all the rebels myself, but got help from helpful bystanders to kill about 85% of the attacking rebels, and b) I logged off in frustration before all the rebels was killed becasue they spawned in places I couldn't reach them. And c) when I logged on again just a few minutes later I had reached the jamming/bugged status as to which I have stayed for the last 4 days or so.

have you tried getting someone to DB you then rez/clone this has worked on many occasions

I am sorry but I am a noob on abbrivations

but "DB" is "DeathBlow"?

If so; no I haven't tried that yet. I will get with me a rebel friend to Kashyyyk, and lethim/her kill me then and there. It is surely worth a try. And I will report back my experiences so that it can be of any value to the forum.

I can now confirm that GETTING KILLED will solve this halted status.

I just got killed in a duel on Kashyyyk.

When I went back to speak to the imperial officer underground the mission was given again.

P.S.: had no doc but I just cloned to nearest place (up in them trees), and all was ok
