Get close to the gunboat, on the bottom side of it. if you stay in the right place they wont even hit you with there guns.

Fly directly up from the bottom and shoot gun #5.

take out the engines and then kill at leisure.

Gunboats, not Corvettes.

Best way I can think of is to stay 550 meters out and just bang away. Once you get the readings down to 50/50/100/100, start targeting the components. Shields --> Weapons --> Everything else.

Should go down fairly quickly after that.
