Solo teir 1 and 2 - the one you'l get stuck on, he's at the back of the palace.

Get Imp Ace friend to help you on 3 and 4 - solo'ing it is more than tough 1st time round the block.

jsf is ok, i much perfer my opperssor, and the advanced is a great ship. i mastered with the advanced. i use my jsf for planet hopping and the odd station mission.

i will say the little jsf is handy for takin out gunboats, its so small if you time your attack right you can stay between the cannon fire and not get a scrach

one does not 'walk thru' Storm squadron...

one mayclimb thru it, gripping each mission like a mountain climber with no safetyhooks grips each handhold, desperately clinging for life...

but, walk thru.... no

Storm Squadron walkthrough:

do what the mission says and don't get dead.

thats it, there is nothing special, no secrets just do what the mission says and what ever you do don't die. oh and you will develop a real hate for A-Wings as stated in an above post.

each main mission has 5 or so parts, so after each part is compleated my advice is to jump back to d-435 and fly over to the station for repairs and reload missles ( you can land on endor and not fail the mission, just don't stay on the planet long cause some parts of the missions are a timed thing.

the more people you can get to help you the better off you are. and what ever you do, don't fly head on into a mess of ships, take your time and study from a distance how the ships are moveing and figger out what the best plan of attack will be.

thats about all the advice i can give on Storm Squadron.

No kidding, i am just getting ready to start my tier 4 missions. I just want that first box so I can use the JSF to complete the rest. I keep putting it off though b/c there is far too much money to be made in space mining at the moment.

IMHO the Imperial Guard Interceptor is a better ship than the JSF. The JSF is hard to control, mostly because a tiny stick movement sends it jerking (even with the sensitivity turned way down) making it harder to brakcet your targets. By tier 4, you are pretty used to flying TIEs, and you know how they handle, and the IGI is basically a squint with 1.5X the mass.

I do like to fly my JSF around, it is a prestigious symbol, and a lot of fun to fly if you aren't on a mission. For slapping around a few spawns, it can't be beat, because if something turns out too hard to keep bracketed, you can outrun it almost intantly (with the right components and timing.)

I like being in the hardest squadron in the game. Being tier 4 here means that you are working your ion emitters off for every inch of ground you gain. Cuts heal, bones mend, pride is forever (and chicks dig scars)

Took me a few days but once I got used to the JSF handling I am pretty smooth with it now. Its so fast and agile compared to my other (neutral pilot) spaceships that its a ton of fun to fly around.
