Sometimes when I fit my ship on the Manage terminal in the starports I overload it.
i.e. the number exceeds the Reactor output ! I noticed that my ship still launches
but I presume some systems will not work properly !
Is this what REACTOR OVERLOAD is for ???
Is it ok then to exceed the Reactor lvl say for example by a 1000 and then when i get
into space use Reactor Overload and that should compensate ????????
How can i tell what power my reactor is actually outputting with overload running ????
Thanks in advance for any response :-)

You can calculate it. From A Comprehensive Droid Routine Breakdown, Reactor Overload increases your energy by the following amount:
RO1 - 15%
RO2 - 30%
RO3 - 60%
RO4 - 90%
So a 10k energy generation reactor would put out 16k energy with RO3 and 19k energy with RO4.

yes, u can launch in the red.
after you launch, use reactor overload.
reactors are cheap, buy a few and use RO4 if you need to (as it causes decay after you reapair)
