Hello there - Got a question for you:
Is there a recognised "best-practice" skill progressionto take when training in the particular tiers? Like, for instance, always taking the new ship certifications first, then more advanced components etc.
Or is it more on personal preferance, and no choice you make is gonna makefuture missions particularly difficult to complete. Thinking of having waves and waves of tier+ ship attacking your tier- craft
If it makes a difference, I'm taking the Imp storm squadron route. Oh, and I'm staring tier-3 *grin*
Sorry if these seem a little newbish, but you get no info on jtl with the digital download...
Thanks

Hey... I just asked that question myself the other day to my guild leader.... here is what I was told...
For Imp (TIE's), pick up the new ships first. Reasons being that the TIE's don't have a lot of mass, so the "older" ships can't handle the newer parts. So if you pick up the ship first, then the weapons, you should be good...

Yeah, that was pretty much what I was thinking, but that tie bomber strike sounds sooo tempting.... ![]()
Any other viewpoints/anecdotes before I go on?

Cant see how an interceptor handles better components easier than a bomber but thats Imps for you!
Personally I always found getting the equipment is better as you getting bigger bang makers, however, ignoring my own advice I go for the ships first as its always good to get that new ride!
