Okay, I've heard 50 different things on how these work. This question and its explanation will help me to solve this mystery for the final time.

Alright. I know for a jedi starfighter you have to be IMP (ground) to get quest. I also hear that you can't deed the ship unless YOU complete the quest. Now, suppose an IMP gets it for you and deeds the ship, and then trades it. Is that possible? That way, you wouldn't fall under the restriction of not being able to deed the ship, because it will already be created. Wonder if anyone has tried this and could give an answer. Thanks!!

Or can you not trade ships, only ship deeds?

There is no ship trading, only Zuul.

Heh, I've been spending way too much time in the smuggler forum.

Unfortunately, no, you can't trade ships, only deeds, so to be able to fly the Eta-2, you'll need to run the mission with the character you want to be able to fly the ship.
