What are good PYR stats for an A-Wing?

I'm having trouble getting the knack flying my A-Wing my current engine (lvl 7 P:62.4 Y:63.1 R:58.1 Spd: 100) is the best crafted engine I could find on my server. It's slightly better than the engine on my X-Wing (lvl 7 P:62.8 Y:62.8 R:57.7 Spd 97.2), but I prefer the handling of my X-Wing.

To make tight turns in my X-Wing I would throttle back, but it seems that to make tight turns in my A-Wing I need to be going near full speed. IMO, this becomes problematic because I constantly need to adjust the throttle or else I'll fly right by my target.

I'm sure I'll get the hang of it with more practice, but I was hoping someone could help me better understand the PYR stats and what to shoot for in an A-Wing engine.

Also, I'm collecting lvl 6 engine to RE, but I don't think that I'll find a lvl six with a top-end speed that I'll be happy with. A level 8 will be too much mass, does it make sense to RE level 7's. I'm under the belief that you should RE even level equipment, because the odd level equipment is usually not better than crafted components.

The a-wing corners fastest at around 90% throttle. While a post-nerf REd level 6 engine with a 70 PYR and a top speed of 82 is not going to win any speed races, but you may find this easier to control than your crafted engine and you will still have a higher turning speed than your X-wing.

For example, without overloads, with your 100 speed engine, your X-wing has a 900 top speed with the foils open. You have to throttle back to 450 or so to make a tight turn. The same engine on your A-wing has a 1000 top speed, but you can go 900 in a turn.

With the REd reward engine, you're going top speed 820, turning speed 738. Plus with the significantly better PYR, you're making the turn even faster.

The a-wing takes some getting used to. Flying an X-wing is more like flying a Y-wing, it is completely different. The JSF handles about the same, just a tiny bit slower but has a higher turning rate.

The engine PYR stat is the max speed. The chasis determines the acceleration and deceleration rate, and it has a modifier. I don't have the numbers, but with a 60 PYR engine, an a-wing will a 60 speed pitch rate almost immediately, and go back to 0 when you let go. A B-wing will take much longer to hit, say 50 (guess), then it will take much longer to go back to 0.

If someone else has a better explanation, please chime in.

How do the chasis PYR stats and the engine PYR stats work together?
