Recently came back to SWG and not too familiar with the systems.

I'm a Naboo RSF Pilot 4333 and Neutral Novice Sword CL19 on ground.

To get the quest I have to take up Rebel Ground Combatant status.

I have a quest walkthrough and understand the wookie and on leaveparts but I have limited experiance with the civil war aspects and contentpast level 19.

Read somewhere that to get the quest you have to be Rebel Combatant and non-RSF...

Can Ido the quest with this setup and can I use the ship with this setup?

I don't believe you can. Sorry. First, you have to be a ground rebel. then, you have to be able to kill (I forget) either lvl 50ish or 70ish mobs, while escorting the wook to saftey. Then for the final part (which is the killer for you), you have to kill several tie fighters. As an RSF you cannot shoot them. Although, you might be able to trick the system, if you had a rebel ace with you, and let them kill the tie's. Not sure it would work. But reguardless you would need help killing the mobs on kashyyyk.

I have seen a post where a lvl 1 combatant ran it. I'm just worried about the RSF part.

When I was an RSF master I could claim rebel allegiance when I went to Deep Space and fight Imperial ships there; maybe if you just declare combatant on ground and then go to an Alliance Space Station and go overt? That should allow you to target the TIE fighters.

Well that really sux.. I did privateer for that reason alone, open to either side.

So I can only finish the quest if i get a rebel wingman to group throughout the mission?

Thanks much

I'm a Corsec Privateer and had no problem yesterday. I know you loose all skill points going from Rebel to Imp, Imp to Privateer, etc. Anyone know if this person can change Privateer wings, JSF to Corsec? If so, you're cool because Corsec can shoot anyone!

Privateers are Open to either side, except RSF which is in the Empire's pocket. Its similar to the fact that as an SA pilot you cannot shoot Valarian (then later on Hutt) ships, but since the Empire is a MAJOR tartget segment, it hurts a lot more. You can get a Rebel, Corsec, or Smuggler's Alliance wingman, and will have no trouble whatsoever.

Wingman = Grouping with another pilot in their own ship while you're in your ship.

whoa whoa whoa time to clear up some misconceptions

no need to be a high level combatant to finish, unless you're into fighting.

an RSF rebel will need a wingman that is not RSF to finish the space part.

In detail: While you need to be combatant to talk to the queen, you can complete all other steps On leave this means no fighting needed in the Imperial Prison (if you're into combat, and want a challenge, go for it). There is no way for an RSF rebel to be able to shoot Imperial ships in normal sectors, unless he is riding with someone as a gunner, so you should bring a wingman to get the space mission done. That's the simplest way to handle it. You can Travel off Dathomir after finishing the leg at the prison, and hook up with a wingman. The mission does not begin until you enter Dath Space sector.
