Can anyone suggest a good component set-up for an effective PVP A-Wing? I am new to this and the mass is so low, the task seems impossible.

Thank you for your time.

I use a level 8 Engine. One level 7 Gun. One chaff launcher. two level 1 armors, just for the hell of it.

Sheilds are level 6... kinda crappy but I dont get hit so its all good

I have mine set up with some fairly powerful level 8 engines that focus on a combo of speed and manuevring and a level 8 blaster. That alone takes up the vast majority of the mass. Not sure what the level on my shield is, but it's about 900 F/B. Everything else is the minimal requirement to keep the thing together (since cap overload makes lower end caps better, this isn't so bad). I don't have a booster or missiles in this thing, but with a little bit of work I can get in one of the former I think.

I find missles on a A-Wing pointless, if your going for a lock you've already missed at least two good shots on a target.

I would ace more squadrons if they'd just fix the remaster bug.
