Thread: Sweet level 4 RE engine.

The engine was made from a pre-nerf level 4 engine that was over 82 in speed pre-RE. I bought it from a vendor for a whopping 100 credits. I already had a low mass / low drain engine and a high pitch rateengine in storage. Last night I found a high yaw rate engine to go with them. The resulting engine is better that some of the RE jobs that people come up with for the current level six reward engine (I have seen some real stinkers).
My alt is going to use it in his Heavy Scyk. I am thinking I will be the fastest noob at skill level1211.

Actually for a lvl 4 engine the r,p,y are pretty exceptional for a lvl 4. That engine is like a badly re'd lvl 6 reward engine [post nerf] but slightly faster.
Was that re'd from recent loot drops?

The YPR on it is great for a level 4 engine. My alt is only 1211 pilot, so I get to use this engine for the rest of tier 2 and into tier three. Also, it is a TINY engine. Can you find a 3289 mass engine with better YPR?
I suspect the 82+ speed engine that was it's base was an old pre-nerf part. I bought it from a shipwright's "going out of business" vendor for 100 credits. The other three engines were all relatively recent loot drops.

Actually, the YPR isn't bad compared to non-RE'd ships of higher levels.
I have a similar level 4 RE, but the speed on it is only 75 or so.
