Hello everyone!

I just picked up the SWG: The Total Experience and finally bought a spaceship. This is bitter sweet news, though. Space is awesome! I love the look of it and it feels very exciting. However, I'm stuck. I can't pilot my ship.

The manual, along with the holocron, says I use the mouse to pilot the ship. To my dissapointment, this isn't the case for me. I've tried holding down insert, pressing numlock, pressing alt, etc in different combinations thinking that perhaps I could fix it, but no. Whenever I move my mouse, I move my characters head, not my spaceship!

My keymap is set the default and I have not changed any keys, so I doubt there is something wrong with my keymap. Anyone have any suggestions?

Think you need to enable virtual joystick in the options (ctrl-o). Not sure, I fly with stick.

Try hitting ALT... but with the new default keymap, I'm not sure if that will work....

I'd recomend getting a joystick too though, much better control....

Its definitely the Virtual Joystick, i just had this same problem. For some reason you to switch it from automatic.
