Which one are you talking about? The Heavy TIE Fighter or the Crimson Guard Interceptor?

Heavy TIE fighter is a crafted chassis; talk to your local shipwright. Interceptor is a ROTW quest, check the PilotFAQ, second post down.

Or mine your own 1k Iron and Petrochem asteroid and take out the "expensive" part.

Then any shipwright charging you over what they would for a regular TIE/ln is a crook.

Iron is in the Corellian system, Petro's in Yavin.

Or perhaps try to find a ships write interested in doing some barging... one that do not have heavy TIE's in stock. Provide the resources for 2 (or more) ships and get one of them free

These heavy ties are SWEET! I grinded Inquisitor in a day with one of these. It was odd going to an Advance and it feel sluggish Oh, and I took out the vette in one also, why not, I had lvl 7 shields, armor, gun, and a good launcher, and no worries about decay.

Spec these out right, and get two high-hp L8 pieces mated with 12ks or lower, and you've got one sweet tank.

I bought myself a TIE bomber and I would like to soon begin mining, but im not quite sure as to how to outfit it. What's the difference between a Class 2 mining laser and a Mark 3 mining laser? I mean, how different are they in terms of mining efficiency? Cause I've noticed that the Class2 mining laser says it can mine at a rate up to 9.5 but the Mark 3 mining lasers dont show that stat. Also, what does that number mean? Is it resources per second or something?
