Thread: Corsec mission: Nym Cannon Ship

Been stuck on this on for awhile, searched and read other posts about it but cannot find anything that helps.
I can add a wp that I found that spawns cannon ships: 5509 -1959 1713.
But I cannot find my cannon ship 
Any advise?

I just did this one last night, and it confused me too, at first.
When you get to the mission waypoint and auto-stop, look around. There should be some merc fighters nearby. Use your X key to manually target whatever is under your crosshairs.
When I did this to a nearby Kimogila-class ship whose target-box was blue (non-hostile), the label said blah blah blah Nym Cannon Ship.
I flew up to it, and scanned it with the Inspect command, and I got a game message that said "This is the ship you're looking for! Dock with it!"
I got close and hit the Dock command, and the ship refused my dock (they had something to hide!)
I switched my guns to Disable Engine mode with the square bracket key and started firing -- THAT'S when the ship and his escorts turn red and attacked ...
I finished disabling the ship and completed the docking maneuver, figuring I could take a few seconds of hits (your mileage may vary). Then I blew all the hostiles away and returned to Corsec, mission successful.

You're one of the lucky ones.
Closest Cannon ship I've found to that waypoint has been about 3-4k out. I have found and disabled and docked with about 8, every time I inspect it says This is the cargo you're looking for. So I just keep going back and forth docking with any that I see.

I have this mission now and there is absolutely nothing spawning that matches that name. It gives me 2 waypoints in the lok system and I'm flying back and forth but nothing...

Yep, same here, except strangely, none of them attacked me at any point.

I remember this one, spent 1-2 hours looking around that waypoint, kept landing and re-talking to the trainer (as i thought it was bugged) and one of the times i got to the wp there it was ~800m away.

Is anyone gettting two waypoints when they arrive in the lok system? I'm getting two and there are kimo ships around but none of them say cannon ship... spent a few hours flying back and forth between the two waypoints and nothing. Extremely frustrating considering you can't do any other missions...

Kill ships near the two waypoints, keep scanning, and you'll see the cannon ship. I think the quest giver even tells you you'll need to search a little. Look for any of Nym's ships nearby.

Thanks, I'll try that tonight. I loaded up my ship with some new stuff and am itching to try it out!!!

How many cannon ships are you supposed to find? I've found two so far but the mission hasn't ended...

IIRC if you inspect the Cannon ship before docking with it, it bugs.

Hmmm, I guess that could be it /shrug. I ended up doing the mission, took docking with three cannon ships before it said completed...
