If I change from frrelance pilot to rebel pilot does that mean that I loss all my experience ??

I'm a level 5 to 7 freelance pilot and i'm wouldn't be very happy if I have to start over again.

You lose all exp period. You also lose access to any ships you have in your datapad. Think carefully before you drop Freelance. I would get ACE before you drop. I know that may be a pain but the exp bonus on your next squadron will be worth it in the long run.

Not quite true about "ALL" ships. Of course your yacht will still be available. That may seem obvious or maybe not.
