OK, I just got my fourth tier 4 box tonight, and expected that I'd be sent on to what I heard were the ace pilot quests, which is killing so many opposite faction npcs and taking down a corvette. Instead, my trainer is telling me to take some duties, and to come back when he's figured out whatever thenext step in the missionstory arc is.

For teh record, I am in Black Epsilon, and the last mission I completed was to deliver something to an Imperial shuttle. Once I did that, they told me that Insurgent guy wanted to speak to me. So when I went and spoke to him, I got the mission complete screen, and now he's saying he's got something figured out come back later, in the meantime, take some duty missions. When I look at the skills window, it shows that ace needs something like 7.5 million xp.

What's the deal here? Do I need to get the xp? Is that all it takes for Ace, or is it a choice thing, between missions and grinding? Am I supposed to go somewhere else for the next step? Any help at all with this would be greatly appreciated.
